Well here is our first problem,When i took the original measurements I went on the assumption that the skirts would be part of the table. No they have to be on the side to support the leg structure and i forgot about it until OOPS im short.
I had to do 2 more glue ups to come out to the right dimension. More time more mess but it worked

incert collar on to peg ! Ya right not so easy

To hold the skirts in place i made these 1 inch pegs with a metal collar on them. They are easily removable and can me moved about to accommodate different wood projects

Done but it took two tries to get it right

Looks good works fine

1 1/8th pine dowes to hold skirt in place due to high side loads glued in of course

Tomorrow we do the center board and mount the top to the legs, remember no hardware of any kind
